All of my favorites like Golden and Blue Hubbard, Cinderella Pumpkins, Butternut, Sweet Dumpling , Potimarron , Musquee de Provence, Galeux d'Eysines , Red Kuri, Jarrahdale and more (Mark refuses to eat squash of any kind). I have already spotted some giant Golden Hubbard squash growing in the corner. According to the seed packet they only get to be 12 lbs, but I estimate that they will be at least 20-30 lbs when ripe. They are enormouse already.
I'll be eating home grown squash all winter. I can hardly wait!!!

My envy is large! I didn't get my squash planted early enough. I love winter squash too and intend to grow a ton of my own. I can't wait to see all your squashes when ripe.
Maybe your guy can be persuaded to try some this winter.
I've been checking out your Monastery garden. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
I’ve tried to disguise squash in everyway I can think of to entice Mark to try it. His mother liked to pick her zucchini when it was about 2 ½ feet long, full of huge seeds and tough. Then she would cook it to a slimy consistency and insist that her kids eat it. He was scared for life….Even though I like to pick mine when they are really small and cook them al dente with butter and herbs he still won’t give it a try. Oh well, I guess that just means more for me.
Wow, Sarah, that is a BEAUTIFUL pumpkin patch!! And so interesting to see that the County Fair is this week... for months I thought I'd enter my marmalade and some of our veggies in the fair... But life changes!
